About Dave
Dave follows fictionalized rapper Lil Dicky in 2020 across ten episodes chasing a debut album with GaTa and Ally. Season 2 from 2021 widens the tour and the Ally split, ending on the anniversary show.
Season 3 from 2023 takes the crew on the road with tour money and the Robyn turn. Watch seasons 1 through 3 in order. The jokes reset weekly, but the career and relationship stakes stack, so the tour finale only lands with the climb behind it. Co-created with Jeff Schaffer, the show mixes cringe humor with genuine studio craft.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 3 in order. FX said in February 2024 there were no current plans for season 4 while Dave Burd takes an extended break, leaving the door open without a date. The ten episode seasons each run about thirty minutes. GaTa playing himself becomes the heart of the show by season 2, so do not skip ahead.
