About Echo 3
Echo 3 follows Army Delta veteran Prince and CIA operative Bambi racing into Colombia and Venezuela border country after scientist Amber Chesborough is seized at her wedding. Episode 1 stages the abduction and family shock. Episodes 2 and 3 track ransom proof videos, shifting guerrilla camps and early American intelligence pressure under agent Violetta.
Episodes 4 through 7 follow militia splits, a rival trafficker bid, CIA station bargaining and a paid informant network that keeps moving Amber. Episodes 8 through 10 build the prisoner swap, river extraction and injured return home with lasting strain. Creator Mark Boal adapted the Israeli series When Heroes Fly for Apple, airing ten episodes from November 2022 to January 2023. Watch 1 through 10 in order.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 10 in release order, since camp locations, captor factions and ransom terms change every hour. The When Heroes Fly source is a separate Israeli story, so its ending does not map onto Amber's exchange. No second season was ordered, so the ten episodes stand as a finished rescue arc with no extra chapters to add.
