About Forever
Forever follows teens Keisha and Justin testing first love in 2018 LA. Season 1 (2025) runs 8 episodes from May 8, 2025, spending four weeks Top 10 with 15.9 million views rising to 24.4 million by year end. Season 2 was renewed May 14, 2025 at Upfronts, with production starting Los Angeles May 2026 and no premiere date.
Mara Brock Akil created the Netflix coming-of-age drama. The finale breakup carries into season 2. Watch season 1 first, then wait on 2 once dated, since the Keisha Howard future and the Justin music push set up the next run.
Good to know
Broadcast order is the only order, with one season released and the next waiting. Season 1 sets the 2018 flip phone rules and the parent split that season 2 will reopen. The May 2025 renewal came from Top 10 weeks. Treat season 1 as latest released, with season 2 ordered for May 2026 production but undated.
