About Is It Cake
Is It Cake premiered March 2022 on Netflix about bakers making hyperrealistic cakes with Mikey Day hosting and judges guessing real or cake. Season 1 sets 8 episodes with 5 thousand finds and 50 thousand wins across everyday objects.
Season 2 in 2023 adds bigger builds and 2 part finale, and Season 3 in 2024 to 2025 plus Holiday spinoffs widen themes with larger prizes. Each season resets bakers but keeps finds, so newcomers start with Season 1 before holiday extras. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone.
Good to know
There is no story order to follow since seasons reset with new bakers each time. Watch Season 1 fully before Seasons 2 to 3, since judging tricks assume early finds. Treat the show as ongoing with 3 seasons by 2025, and save Holiday for after mains. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
