About Jury Duty

Jury Duty follows Ronald Gladden, an ordinary citizen who believes he has been selected for an American jury trial, while every other juror, lawyer and judge is an actor following a script. James Marsden plays a heightened version of himself as a fellow juror. The Freevee series aired eight episodes in 2023.

Early episodes establish the fake case and the oddball jurors. Middle episodes escalate with sequestration stunts and a disastrous field trip. The finale delivers the verdict and reveals the setup to Gladden. The pranks depend on Gladden trusting the cast, so watching out of order would spoil how the ensemble earns that trust over days.

Good to know

Watch episodes one through eight in order. The trial unfolds day by day, and later jokes call back to small moments planted earlier, like chair mishaps and birthday debates. There is no alternate chronology to try. The season works as a complete story, and any future season with a new cast would stand apart rather than interleave with this trial.
