About Remington Steele
Remington Steele follows Laura Holt inventing boss Remington Steele, then ex thief Pierce Brosnan assuming the name. Season 1 from October 1982 sets the con, seasons 2 through 4 from 1983 to 1985 run full case years with Mildred joining, and season 5 from early 1987 closes short after the Bond near casting saga.
Robert Butler and Michael Gleason created the NBC romantic detective run. NBC cancelled then revived it when Brosnan's Bond publicity spiked. Cases are weekly, but the who is Steele mystery and the Laura romance thread through all 94 episodes.
