About Roswell New Mexico
Roswell original ran on WB and UPN from October 1999 with Shiri Appleby as Liz for three seasons and 61 episodes to May 2002. Max, Isabel and Michael hide pods while FBI hunts. The CW reboot Roswell New Mexico premiered in January 2019 with Jeanine Mason as Liz for four seasons and 52 episodes to September 2022.
The reboot keeps crashdown names but resets deaths and politics. The CW cancelled it after season four, so both runs stand closed. Watch either complete run for its own alien romances with no shared cast.
Good to know
There is no shared story order since the reboot recasts everyone and resets Roswell fully. Watch the original three seasons for 2000s pods, or the reboot four for modern border stakes. The 1999 finale and 2022 finale each close their own Max and Liz. Pick one complete run before sampling the other take.
