About Skins
Skins follows groups of Bristol teens across seven series, with a new cast every two series as the old group ages out. The first generation centers on Tony and Effy, the second on Cook and Effy, and the third on Franky and Mini, each run building to its own ending.
Watch series one through seven in air order. The show resets its cast on purpose, so there is no shortcut that keeps the arcs intact. The two part Fire finale and the Rise and Pure specials close the first two generations and should be watched after series six, not skipped.
Good to know
There is no chronological trick here, because each generation runs straight through its two series. The 2013 specials revisit Effy, Cook and Cassie after the main run and assume you know their endings. Content warnings from series one carry through the whole show. The American remake attempt is a separate single series and sits outside this order.
