Strictly pairs celebrities with pros for ballroom votes with Saturday live and Sunday results. Series 1 runs May to July 2004 with 8 celebs and Kaplinsky winning, series 2 runs October to December 2004 as the only year with two runs. Series move to autumn slots with 10 to 15 celebs each year through 2026.
Series 18 shortened in 2020 for COVID with Bill Bailey winning. Series 22 has Chris McCausland as first blind winner in 2024 with 25 episodes. Series 23 has Karen Carney winning in 2025 as last run for Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Series 24 brings Emma Willis with Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe from 2026.
