About Taskmaster
Taskmaster premiered on Dave in July 2015 with Greg Davies and Alex Horne, running five short series of 5 to 8 parts through 2017 plus a first Champion of Champions. Series 6 onward settled to 10 parts, with the move to Channel 4 in late 2020. By September 2026 the run covered 22 series with winners specials and New Year Treats for more than 200 parts.
Series 21 aired in spring 2026 and series 22 was airing into November 2026. A six series renewal in April 2026 runs to 2029 with more specials. Junior, US, NZ and Australia versions sit outside the UK main path. Release order matches play order, since tasks reset each show except Champion specials needing prior series.

Watch series in order but feel free to sample, since tasks reset except Champion of Champions needing its qualifying runs. Early Dave runs are shorter, so expect 5 to 8 parts before the 10 part standard from series 6. New Year Treats and Champions sit best right after their years. Channel 4 runs stream next day on YouTube worldwide, which helps if broadcast listings split specials oddly.
