About The Rehearsal
The Rehearsal follows Nathan Fielder as he helps ordinary people prepare for difficult conversations by building full-scale replicas of their lives and hiring actors to rehearse every outcome. Season 1 centers on small personal dilemmas that spiral into a long-term fake family experiment. Season 2 shifts to airline safety and pilot communication, using the same rehearsal method on a much larger stage.
The comedy comes from watching controlled plans collapse, so later episodes assume you have seen how far Fielder will go. Season 2 reuses techniques and even personnel from season 1 without re-explaining them. The show has not been confirmed as finished, so further seasons would continue directly from these methods rather than restarting.
Good to know
Watch season 1 then season 2 in order. The episodes are not fully standalone, since the Kor Skeete house storyline runs through the back half of season 1 and the pilot project runs through all of season 2. Skipping ahead would spoil how the early rehearsals teach Fielder what to attempt later. There is no chronological alternative to consider, since everything is presented in the order it was attempted.
