About Wagon Train
Wagon Train follows Major Adams and Hale leading pioneers west. Seasons 1 to 3 run from 1957 in black and white with Ward Bond. Seasons 4 to 6 cover the middle years through 1963 with new scouts.
Seasons 7 to 8 close through 1965 in color with final trails. Guest stars drive each week apart. The episodes never need strict links, so release order rolls from St Louis to the coast. The trail dust and scout horns open every show while wagons roll. The scout horns and river fords fill every show with dust.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 8 in air order since the scouts change over time. Bond leaves early and McCullough carries late years well. Hale stays through the run proper. The run is closed after 1965 with no further order needed at all today. The rerun love confirms the trail, so start at season one. The rerun love confirms the trail, so start at season one again.
