About A Will Eternal
A Will Eternal follows Bai Xiaochun, a timid youth obsessed with living forever who stumbles into the Spirit Stream Sect and accidentally becomes a legend. The donghua adapts Er Gen's novel across multiple seasons that started in 2020.
Early episodes cover the Outer Sect jokes and the Fragrant Cloud Peak trials. Middle seasons move to the Blood Stream Sect infiltration and the Starry Sky Dao Sect wars. Later arcs enter the Saint realm politics that assume knowledge of Bai Xiaochun's pill formulas and beast bonds. Each sect change builds on debts and rivalries earned earlier, so skipping ahead hides why elders fear his name.
Good to know
Watch in release order. The story is linear despite frequent sect transfers, and flashbacks are brief gags rather than alternate entry points. Follow seasons one onward in official numbering, since some sites merge short cours differently. The novels run far beyond the animation, so expect a long comedy of cultivation rather than a closed finale.
