About Amanchu
Amanchu follows Hikari and Futaba through school diving club in Izu across 13 episodes in 2016. Advance from 2018 runs 12 more with license tests and sea trips. Both seasons keep gentle club lessons and ocean dives.
Watch Amanchu first, then Advance, since the second season assumes club bonds and basic skills. The Kozue Amano manga came first and holds extra dives. No third TV season breaks this chain as of this check, so two seasons in order cover the anime path. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction to the cast and rules.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing because both seasons follow one school year flow in broadcast order. Season 1 sets masks, breath and buddy rules. Advance tests licenses and open water with the same pair. Both total 25 episodes. The manga runs on with more sea trips, so treat the anime as a calm pause rather than a closed end.
