About Argonavis
Argonavis from BanG Dream tracks Ren and his Sapporo band moving to Tokyo across 13 TV episodes in 2020. The first film Gekijouban Argonavis: Ryusei no Obligato from 2021 retells the TV formation as a recap with new live scenes. The second film Axia from 2023 shifts focus to GYROAXIA rivalry.
Watch the TV series first, then Obligato only if you want the recap, then Axia for the next story. The project shares the BanG Dream world but uses separate bands, so no other BanG Dream anime must be watched first.
Good to know
Release order keeps the band growth clear from street lives to major stages. The TV run sets Argonavis, GYROAXIA, Fantome Iris and other units. Obligato repeats that path in film length and can be skipped after TV. Axia moves past the recap into new songs and should be saved for last. Live concerts add songs but no required plot between these entries.
