Bocchi the Rock follows Hitori Gotoh as a shy guitarist who joins Kessoku Band with Nijika, Ryo and Kita. The 2022 season runs 12 episodes from first live house nerves to the school festival close, with CloverWorks mixing photo backgrounds and sharp stage cuts.
Bocchi the Rock Re part 1 and part 2 from 2024 recap the season across two theatrical films with a new opening song. A second season has been announced with no premiere date as of September 2026. The story stays linear, so the choice is format rather than timeline.
