About Astro Note
Astro Note is an original romantic comedy anime from Telecom Animation Film that ran 12 episodes from April to June 2024. Down on his luck cook Takumi Miyasaki takes a live in job at the boarding house Astro Lodge, only to learn landlady Mira Gotokuji is an alien princess searching for a lost key on Earth. Each episode pairs a breakfast recipe with one step closer to her secret.
The show plays as a gentle throwback to classic boarding house sitcoms, with the lodge residents getting one spotlight episode each before the finale resolves Mira's mission. Release order is the only order, since Takumi and Mira's relationship builds week by week through small kitchen moments. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in sequence for the full romance.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in release order, since Takumi and Mira's trust grows through small weekly steps. Each lodge resident gets a spotlight episode, so skipping ahead spoils their introductions. The alien key plot stays light until the final stretch, then resolves fast across the last two episodes. With one short season and no specials, the whole romance fits in a single weekend run.
