About Atashin'chi
Atashin'chi adapts Eiko Kera with mother, father, Mikan and Yuzuhiko in daily comedy. The TV run from October 2002 spans 330 episodes on TV Asahi to 2009 with school and shopping gags and neighbor chats. Shin-Ei Animation keeps each to one family lesson with bright designs.
The 2010 film adds a longer holiday trip with new jokes. Shin Atashin'chi from October 2015 runs 26 more to 2016 with the same voices and updated looks. No further run was made, so the 330 plus film plus 26 form the set with manga ahead.
Good to know
Watch the 330 TV tales then the 2010 film then Shin, since school years and mom roles stack directly across runs. The film assumes you know Mikan's class and Yuzuhiko jokes from TV years. Shin reboots art slightly but continues family age with same gags. Treat the run as closed with the 2016 end as the current close.
