About Arifureta

Arifureta follows Hajime falling to the labyrinth bottom and rebuilding himself into the edge party. Season 1 ran 13 episodes July to October 2019 with OVA diary and onsen bonuses into 2020. Season 2 ran 12 January to March 2022, plus the 42 minute Phantom Adventure OVA that September.

Season 3 ran 16 episodes October 2024 to February 2025. The light novels run far past the anime. No fourth season is announced. Watch S1, then the OVAs, then S2, then S3, since the party roster and the labyrinth depths stack across the run.

Good to know

Release order is the story order. The OVAs slot after their seasons as bonuses, with Phantom Adventure after season 2. Season 3 assumes the full edge party from the first 25 episodes. No fourth season is announced. The novels continue past S3 for readers. The prologue ONA replays the fall and plays as skippable.
