About Asobi Asobase
Asobi Asobase follows Hanako Honda, Olivia and Kasumi Nomura, three girls who form the Pastimers Club to play old fashioned games. Early episodes set rock paper scissors punishments, toy mail trades, Olivia's broken English act, Kasumi's boys love obsession, and run ins with Chitose Aoyagi and her butler Maeda. Lerche animates Rin Suzukawa's manga with extreme face faults.
The middle run adds test score bets, maid cafe shifts, board game wars and the pool contest. The last stretch covers the cultural festival, magazine interviews and the fight to keep the club alive. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order, then the OVA extras, since grade threats and council grudges build across the run.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order, then the two OVA extras which sit beside the TV stories without changing the ending. Each game resets by design, but test stakes, council schemes and Maeda lore carry forward, so skipping breaks later payoffs. No second season has aired, so the twelve episodes plus OVAs stand as the complete run for now. Air order equals story order.
