About Daily Lives
Daily Lives of High School Boys follows Tadakuni, Hidenori Tabata and Yoshitake Tanaka of Sanada North High through skits about school days. Early episodes set classroom debates, the Literature Girl blown away by river wind, parody adventures, sister traps and Motoharu's deadpan violence. Sunrise animates Yasunobu Yamauchi's manga from January 2012 with fast cuts.
Later episodes work through beach plans, part time jobs, the cultural festival, radio bits, High School Girls Are Funky segments with Yassan, Habara and Yanagi, and morning openings. Humor leans on failed cool poses and sibling chaos. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order, since Literature Girl returns and festival prep land better in order.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order. Skits reset by design, but school events, the Literature Girl thread and sister gags return late on purpose, so air order is story order. The manga runs past the anime with the same tone. No second season has aired, so the twelve episodes stand as the full run. Each episode packs several shorts, so blocks move fast.
