About Bush Baby
Bush Baby follows Jackie Rhodes, whose game-warden father is killed by poachers, leaving her to cross Kenya with pet bushbaby Murphy. Nippon Animation aired forty episodes in 1992 with savanna herds and river crossings.
Early episodes establish the Manor House loss and the Tenbo friendship. Middle chapters add the Amina village help and the soldier pursuit. Later episodes stage the Mombasa reunion that closes the trek. The route only moves eastward, so skipping ahead hides how Jackie earns guides.
Good to know
Watch in broadcast order. The trek only advances toward the coast, with rangers returning without reintroduction. There is no sequel in continuity. New viewers can sample savanna rescues, yet the reunion lands better after seeing the full poacher pursuit buildup. Notice herd sounds and river marks that signal safe camps.
