About Dorohedoro
Dorohedoro follows Caiman, a man with a lizard head and a sorcerer inside his mouth, hunting the magic user who cursed him through the Hole's mud and gyoza shops. MAPPA's first season adapts the early manga in 12 episodes plus the Ma no Omake OVA shorts, and the second season premiered in April 2026.
Watch season one, then the OVA shorts, then season two. The shorts are slice of life bonuses that spoil nothing and play best once you know the cast. The manga ran complete from 2000 to 2018, so the anime has a fixed endpoint to adapt toward.
Good to know
The long gap between seasons came from production scheduling, not cancellation: season two was announced in 2024, dated for 2025, then slipped to April 2026 with most staff returning. Crunchyroll and Netflix both stream the show, with season one outside Japan from 2020. No further season has been dated yet, so the list below is current as aired.
