About Fushigi Yuugi
Fushigi Yuugi aired April 1995 to March 1996 from Pierrot about girls Miaka and Yui entering Universe of Four Gods book with Tamahome guarding. Early episodes set Suzaku seven hunts across Konan.
Later episodes shift to Seiryu wars and finale wishes with three OVA series adding Eikoden weddings. The story runs one straight line with OVA extras after, so broadcast order keeps books clear. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone. New jobs appear often, with each fix teaching care without losing humor and keeping friends clear.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing since TV plus OVAs run in sequence with OVAs after. Watch episodes 1 to 20 for setup, 21 to 40 for wars, then 41 to 52 plus OVAs for the close. The manga runs longer, so the anime plus OVAs cover the core arc. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
