About Gintama
Gintama ran 367 episodes from 2006 to 2018 as the Yorozuya drift between gag weeks and shogunate war arcs. The early hundred episodes stay episodic, the middle years mix Farewell Shinsengumi turns, and the Silver Soul finale closes the war across the last run.
Two compilation films plus Be Forever Yorozuya and The Final from 2021 cap the story, with the 2025 Yoshiwara in Flames theatrical cut as a remaster extra. The manga ended in 2019, so the anime plus The Final form the complete adaptation with specials as bonuses.
