About Grimm Masterpiece
Grimm Masterpiece Theater aired from 1987 into 1989 with two seasons of Grimm fairy tale adaptations. Season 1 covers well known tales with full length retellings, while Season 2 adds more stories in the same anthology style. Every episode stands alone with its own cast and moral.
Because the show is an anthology, either season can be sampled, but broadcast order keeps animation shifts and narration style clear. Start with Season 1 from 1987, then move to Season 2 from 1988. There are no linked plots to spoil, so the guide simply preserves the original air sequence across both years and both narrators.
Good to know
Watch Grimm Masterpiece Season 1 first, then Season 2, in broadcast order. There is no story chronology because each episode adapts a separate fairy tale with no shared timeline. Keep the two seasons in air order to match home releases and episode numbers. Once both seasons are done the run is complete, since later Grimm specials are separate productions.
