About Gugure Kokkuri-san
Gugure Kokkuri-san aired 12 episodes in 2014 from TMS, adapting Midori Endo gag manga about a lonely girl and her guardians. Kohina summons fox spirit Kokkuri-san, who stays to fix her cup noodle diet, joined by Inugami, Shigaraki and Tama. Early episodes set the possession rules, the debt notebook and the household routine.
The later run cycles through festival trips and job hunts while Kohina opens to company. The finale keeps the household intact with nothing hanging. No sequel was produced, so the 12 episodes are the complete run. Watch 1 through 12 in order for the running jokes to stack.
Good to know
Watch 1 through 12 in order, grouped into three blocks of four for easy tracking. The gags layer across episodes, so Inugami obsession and Shigaraki debt jokes land better in sequence than scattered. Each block holds four standalone stories with one arc beat each. No OVA or sequel continues the cast, so the TV run alone is the full path from lonely summoning to found family household.
