About Gungrave
Gungrave follows Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowel rising through the Millennion syndicate, then Brandon returning from death as Beyond the Grave for revenge. Madhouse's 26 episode anime from 2003 to 2004 adapts Yasuhiro Nightow's game story as a complete mafia tragedy.
Watch the 26 episodes straight through. The show runs one rise and fall arc with no film or OVA to slot anywhere, and its nonlinear cold open resolves in sequence. The games continue past the anime in places, but the television run is a self contained telling with its own ending.
