About Haganai
Haganai follows Kodaka's Neighbors Club of friendless teens faking friendship until it turns real. A 2011 OVA opened the club early, then season 1 ran 12 episodes October to December 2011. A second OVA from 2012 bridges into NEXT, the 12 episode second season from January to March 2013.
The 2014 live action film retells the story separately. The light novels ended in 2015 with the anime stopping at volume territory before the close. No third season is announced. Watch OVA, then S1, then OVA, then NEXT in release order.
Good to know
Release order is the story order. The 2011 OVA opens the club before season 1, and the 2012 OVA bridges into NEXT, so both bonuses sit in release spot. The live action film is an alternate telling that slots anywhere or can be skipped. No third season is announced. The novels close the club for readers.
