About Kemono Jihen
Kemono Jihen follows Kabane, a half ghoul boy who joins detective Inugami after a village murder case. He moves to Tokyo with spider kemono Shiki and fox kemono Akira to solve monster crimes while hunting his parents. Early episodes cover the debut village job, the insect hideout and the first nullstone clue.
The middle stretch follows the fox village rescue, the police alliance and the battle for the fox stone. Ajia-do aired twelve episodes in winter 2021 directed by Masaya Fujimori from Sho Aimotos manga. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order, since each stone reveal builds toward the final family truth and the Tokyo agency setup.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order. The kemono rules only make sense in sequence because each case adds a stone power and a reason Kabane trusts the agency. The finale assumes the fox village rescue and the police deal. No second season has aired, so the twelve episodes form the complete screen start with manga ahead. Track Shiki, Akira and Kon closely since their loyalties shift fast.
