About Kimi ni Todoke
Kimi ni Todoke follows misunderstood Sawako befriending bright Kazehaya across twenty-five episodes from 2009 at Production I.G. Season 2 from 2011 runs twelve story episodes plus a Kurumi recap special into the festival confession.
Season 3 from August 2024 drops five episodes on Netflix adapting the school-trip through Christmas arcs. Live-action film and drama versions sit in a separate continuity. The anime runs linear school romance, so release order across forty-two episodes is the guide. No fourth season is announced.
Good to know
Release order is story order from the Sadako nickname through dating life. The season 2 recap episode can be skipped on a straight run. Season 3's five episodes land together on Netflix rather than weekly. Live-action versions are separate tellings. Start with season 1, since the friend group and every festival milestone build directly.
