About Kuroko's Basketball
Kuroko's Basketball follows phantom sixth man Tetsuya with Kagami against Miracles. Season 1 (2012) runs 25 episodes from April 7 to September 22, 2012 on the Interhigh. Season 2 (2013) runs 25 episodes from October 6, 2013 to March 29, 2014 on the Winter Cup open. Season 3 (2015) runs 25 episodes from January 10 to June 30, 2015 closing the Cup. Last Game (2017) reunites Miracles versus Jabberwock from March 18, 2017 as canon sequel to Extra Game.
Production I.G animated the Tadatoshi Fujimaki manga to completion. Winter Cup compilation films 1 to 3 from 2016 recap TV and can be skipped. Watch S1, S2, S3, then Last Game for the full pass and shoot payoff.
Good to know
Release order is story order, with the Winter Cup running straight across seasons 2 and 3. Do not start with Last Game, since it assumes you know Akashi, Aomine and the Zone. The three 2016 compilations add no new scenes worth pausing for. Treat Last Game as the ending, with no new anime dated and Extra Game closed.
