About Ao Ashi
Ao Ashi follows Ashito Aoi, a rough striker from Ehime, scouted into Tokyo Esperion's youth team where he must relearn the game as a full back. Season 1 ran twenty-four episodes from April to September 2022 at Production I.G through tryouts and the Premier League debut.
Season 2 premieres October 4, 2026 on NHK Educational TV at TMS Entertainment with twenty-four episodes planned. The manga continues past both seasons with no anime films to place. The story runs in one line from street football to academy tactics, so release order is the way in.
