About Saki
Saki follows Saki Miyanaga joining Kiyosumi mahjong with Nodoka, Mako and Hisa toward nationals. Season 1 from 2009 runs 25 episodes through prefectural to national semifinals. Achiga-hen from 2012 follows Achiga girls through their own qualifiers across 16 episodes, while Nationals from 2014 merges both schools at the finals across 13 episodes.
Watch Saki first, then Achiga, then Nationals in release order since the finals assume both qualifiers. Achiga works as a parallel track rather than a sequel, but its final episodes feed directly into Nationals rounds. No further anime has been dated past 2014, which leaves the three runs as the set.
Good to know
Release order matches tournament brackets with Achiga as the side cut. Season 1 sets rinshan and scoring rules that Achiga assumes, so do not start with the spin-off. Nationals merges casts at the finals table, which only lands after both qualifiers. Treat Nationals as the anime close with the manga beyond it and no sequel pending.
