About Log Horizon
Log Horizon adapts Mamare Touno's novels about players trapped in the Elder Tale MMO. Season one aired 25 episodes from 2013 to 2014 covering the Catastrophe and the Round Table founding. Season two aired 25 episodes from 2014 to 2015 with the Goblin King raid. Season three, Destruction of the Round Table, aired 12 episodes in 2021 after delays from the author's tax case.
The novels continue past season three with the story still active, so further anime stays possible with no date announced as of 2026. Studio Deen animated the first two seasons with Satelight joining the third, keeping Shiroe's glasses-glint planning scenes consistent throughout.
Good to know
Watch one through three in broadcast order, since the Round Table politics and the Akiba guild ranks assume full history. The show is a strategy and economics story more than an action run, so expect council episodes between raids. To continue past the anime, pick up the novels around volume 12 where season three closes.
