About Love Hina
Love Hina follows Keitaro as manager of the Hinata inn with Naru, Motoko, Kaolla and Mitsune. The 2000 series runs 24 episodes from the Tokyo U promise through exams and island trips. Xebec keeps the slapstick and hot spring gags close.
The Christmas special from 2000 and Spring special from 2001 fit after the series with new inn chaos. Again from 2002 runs 3 OVAs into the Kanako arc as the close. The manga runs past the anime, but the OVA stands as the screen end with no new TV dated as of September 2026.
Good to know
Watch the 2000 series fully before the specials at all. The Christmas and Spring tales spoil exam results fast, so they cannot be entries. Again fits last as the OVA close with Kanako focus and promise payoff. Treat the series plus specials as complete, since the promise arc ends there and later manga stays off screen.
