About Maid Sama!
Maid Sama! (2010) runs 26 episodes of class-warfare rom-com: student council president Misaki secretly works at a maid cafe, and Usui will not stop finding her there. The Omake dayo! OVA (2011) adds a bonus episode of side stories.
Broadcast order is the guide; the OVA assumes the series' relationship progress. The show is peak 2010 shoujo-comedy formula with banter that carries it. Hiro Fujiwara's manga continues past the anime into married life, so readers get the real ending. The anime covers the courtship years completely.
Good to know
The anime adapts roughly the first third of the 18-volume manga, which is why the ending feels early: the books are the continuation. The OVA is a light bonus, skippable without plot loss. No second season has been announced since 2011 despite the manga's completion, so the TV run plus OVA is the anime set. The dub is solid for comedy viewers.
