About Mushoku Tensei
Mushoku Tensei follows Rudeus Greyrat from rebirth through magic school and marriage across three seasons at Studio Bind. Season 1 from 2021 adapts his childhood with Roxy and Eris in two cours. An unaired Eris side episode from 2022 slots beside it. Season 2 from 2023 to 2024 covers the school years, Sylphiette and Roxy marriages, and Paul's loss on the rescue mission to rescue Zenith.
Season 3 premiered in July 2026 with a two-episode Eris training opener before rejoining Rudeus, and is currently airing on Crunchyroll with the English dub from July 19. Release order is story order, so one list covers it. The light novels by Rifujin na Magonote continue past the anime and are the only way forward while season 3 airs.
Good to know
Watch in release order without skipping the OVA, since the Eris side story feeds her season 3 return as a Sword King. Season 2 runs two cours with a break between, but both halves belong together before season 3. Season 3 adapts the Turning Point material with Perugius and Orsted circling, so expect it to assume full knowledge of seasons 1 and 2. The show is the straightforward case: no recap films or alternate versions to route around.
