About My Little Monster

My Little Monster adapts the manga by Robico, serialized in Kodansha's Dessert magazine from 2008 to 2013. The anime was produced by Brains Base and directed by Hiro Kaburaki, airing on TV Tokyo from October 2 to December 25, 2012 for 13 episodes. It follows top student Shizuku Mizutani and unpredictable Haru Yoshida as study partners turn into something more, with scripts supervised by Noboru Takagi.

A single OAD episode was released on DVD with the limited edition of manga volume 12 on August 12, 2013. It is a standalone side story, not a continuation of the TV finale, so nothing in the main plot changes if you watch it right after episode 13. The manga ending goes further than the anime, and a live-action film arrived in 2018 for viewers who want the rest of the story.

Good to know

There is no separate chronological order for My Little Monster worth listing. The TV run is linear and the OAD is a side story, so release order and story order are the same list. Watch episodes 1 through 13, then the OAD. The anime covers only part of Robico's manga, so expect an open ending rather than a full adaptation of the story.
