About Now and Then, Here and There
Now and Then follows Shu meeting Lala-Ru before soldiers drag both to a dying world under Hamdo. The 13 episodes aired October 14, 1999 to January 20, 2000 on WOWOW with AIC animating.
No sequel was made. Treat the 13 as a finished run. Watch episodes 1 through 13 in order. The water and child-soldier threads only resolve if you track each camp week to week through the desert. The sunset winds howl through every camp with sand and rusted metal groans. The water tower looms over every painful memory in camp.
