About Oh My Goddess
Oh My Goddess began with a five part OVA from 1993 to 1994 by AIC, adapting Kosuke Fujishima manga about student Keiichi wishing for goddess Belldandy to stay. The 2000 film by Hiroshi Watanabe widens the world with Celestin judgment, while the 2005 TV season and 2006 Flights of Fancy run by AIC build school, rival and heavens arcs with Urd, Skuld and Peorth turns.
Later OVAs from 2007 to 2008 and the 2011 tale close side stories that assume the TV bonds. Watch the 1993 OVA first, then the film, then the two TV seasons, then late OVAs last, since wish rules, house life and heaven law stack across entries and later tests land best with that chain intact.
Good to know
Watch the 1993 OVA first for the wish setup, then the 2000 film as its own bridge, then the 2005 and 2006 TV seasons in order for the main chain. The 2007 to 2008 OVAs and 2011 tale slot last as side closes that need the house cast. Skipping ahead loses who Belldandy sisters are and why heaven rules bite. The manga runs longer, so treat the anime close as a clean screen stop.
