About One Piece
The One Piece anime has aired continuously since October 20, 1999, adapting Eiichiro Oda's manga into a single continuous story. As of September 20, 2026 the run stands at episode 1179, still in the Elbaph arc. Episode 1180 airs on September 27, 2026 as the cour 1 finale, then the series goes on hiatus until 2027.
There is only one order to worry about. The anime has never used flashback seasons or alternate timelines, so saga order is simply broadcast order. Around a tenth of the episodes are filler arcs that were never in the manga, and the franchise has three separate adaptations running alongside each other: the broadcast anime, a Netflix live-action series, and WIT Studio's full remake.

Episode boundaries shift by a source or two; the milestones below are the anchors most lists use: Fish-Man Island ends 578, Dressrosa ends 746, Whole Cake ends 889, Wano ends 1088, Egghead ends 1155, and Elbaph starts 1156. Skip filler runs rather than specific episodes if you are in a hurry; keeping the canon episodes around each hiatus keeps the story clear. The Log: Fish-Man Island Saga recut (2024 to 2025) condenses arc 11 to 21 episodes if the 100-episode stretch feels like a wall.
