About One Punch Man
One Punch Man follows Saitama, a hero who ends every fight in one punch, across three TV seasons that adapt ONE's manga in order. Season 1 from Madhouse aired in 2015, season 2 from J.C. Staff arrived in 2019, and season 3 aired weekly from October 12 to December 28, 2025 covering the Monster Association raid.
Six OVAs and recap specials sit between seasons but add only comedy side stories. The manga continues past the anime with the Monster Association climax and the Empty Void arc, so season 3 ends mid-saga with no season 4 dated yet.
Good to know
Release order and story order are the same straight line, so watch seasons 1 through 3 in sequence and slot the OVAs after their season. The gap between seasons 2 and 3 was six years, which is why Crunchyroll and Hulu recap specials help before jumping into the 2025 episodes. Manga readers can start around volume 17 to continue past the anime.
