About Photon
Photon: The Idiot Adventures runs six 32 minute OVAs with Photon marked baka chasing runaway Aun and wedding pilot Keyne Acqua. Directed by Koji Masunari, the story mixes Aho energy lore with Tenchi universe links across Sandy Planet and starship chases.
The OVA released piecemeal from 1997 to 1999 through Movic and King Records, now on Crunchyroll and RetroCrush. Watch episodes one through six in release order, since Keyne engagement and Papacharino pursuit build steadily. The run ends cleanly with no sequel, so the six parts form the whole guide.
Good to know
Release order is story order across six OVAs with no alternate cut. Start at episode one for baka mark setup that drives engagement gag. The finale resolves Aho ship and emperor threads together, so sequential viewing matters. As a completed OVA series, this single entry covers the full guide with Tenchi links kept as background only.
