Recovery of an MMO Junkie follows Morioka as she quits work and meets Sakurai through game avatars Hayashi and Lily. The 10 episode TV run aired in fall 2017 in online to offline order. The OVA from December 2017 acts as episode 11 and closes the offline meet.

Watch episodes 1 through 10, then the OVA. Skipping the OVA leaves the romance open, since TV alone stops one step short. The manga ended in 2018 with author health hiatus, so the TV plus OVA is the complete screen set. Yoshimasa Hiraike directed the series at Signal.MD. The anime adapts Rin Kokuyo manga chapters.
