Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is an 8 episode anime series from Science SARU released on Netflix in November 2023. Bryan Lee O'Malley co-created it as a remix rather than a remake: Scott vanishes after his first fight with Matthew Patel, and Ramona Flowers investigates his disappearance across Toronto. The film cast returns to voice their roles while the story swerves into new territory.
