About Shadowverse
Shadowverse follows Hiiro Amamiya through the Shadowverse card game across 48 episodes in 2020 to 2021, ending with the World Grand Prix run. Shadowverse Flame picks up three years later with new lead Light Tenryu joining the Seventh Flame club at Shadowverse College, running 98 episodes from 2022 to 2024.
Flame splits into the main 50 episode run, the Seven Shadows chapter and the closing Arc chapter around the stolen Arc artifact. Watch in release order since Flame assumes the game rules from the first series and builds its large cast step by step.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Shadowverse worth listing, since Flame is set three years after the first series and release order matches story order. Start with the 2020 series even though Flame has a new cast, because the card mechanics carry over. The recap specials from 2022 to 2024 can be skipped.
