About Sket Dance
Sket Dance follows the Kaimei High helper club with Bossun, Himeko and Switch solving student jobs. Tatsunoko produced 77 episodes from April 2011 to September 2012 on TV Tokyo, split as 51 plus 26 as Second Dance. A recap special covers the run.
The OVA from February 2013 adapts chapters 198 to 200 around a love triangle and came with manga volume 29. The 2021 memorial Blu-ray repacks all 77 plus the OVA with no new anime. Watch episodes 1 through 77, then the OVA. Gintama crossovers slot inside but need no outside viewing.
Good to know
There is no chronological order for Sket Dance. Jobs stand alone with slow romance in the back, so release order is story order. The OVA adapts late manga after the TV end, so it belongs last. The recap special adds nothing new. No sequel has been announced since 2013 and the manga is complete. Start at episode 1.
