About Telecom Animation Film
Telecom Animation Film animated Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro in 1979 and grew into a feature and series studio behind Detective Conan films, the Orange drama in 2016 and Tower of God in 2020. The house style favors clean layout work, patient acting and faithful manga staging over flashy effects, which makes its catalog read as one long craft line from Miyazaki era layouts to modern streaming series.
Recent output mixes co productions like Shenmue the Animation in 2022 with films such as Blue Giant in 2023. Start with Cagliostro, then the early Conan films, since those two teach the studio timing that Orange and Tower of God later stretch into longer arcs.
Good to know
No shared universe links these productions, so release order is a craft tour rather than a plot chain. Watch Cagliostro first for the layout baseline, then any Conan film for the mystery template. Orange and Tower of God assume no prior Telecom viewing and can follow in either order. Treat the studio as ongoing, with theatrical and streaming work continuing side by side each year.
