Tokyo Mew Mew follows Ichigo with Mint, Lettuce, Pudding and Zakuro as Mews against aliens. The 2002 series runs 52 episodes from the cafe setup through Deep Blue close. Studio Pierrot keeps the transform and battle formula close.
A La Mode from 2003 adds Berry as a new lead in manga and shorts. Mew Mew New from 2022 reboots with 24 episodes across 2 cours with modern designs. New assumes the cafe rules without retelling all old fights, so it fits after the original as a fresh take rather than a season 2.
Good to know
Watch the 2002 series fully before New at all. New spoils team bonds fast and assumes the cafe seen from the start, so it cannot be an entry. A La Mode fits after the series as an extra for Berry fans. Treat the run as open while new shorts stay possible, since the reboot ends open as of September 2026.
